BAKED PEARS

Baked pears with cardamom and ginger

INGREDIENTS

PREPARATION

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray

baking with baking paper.

Prepare the pears: Peel the pears and cut them in half lengthwise. Remove the core with a teaspoon. Spread the inside of each pear half with about 1 teaspoon butter. Season the pears: Place the pears on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up, and sprinkle them evenly with cardamom and cinnamon. Then, drizzle them with honey.

Cook the pears: Cook in the oven for 20 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking. Drizzle them with orange juice and let them cool for 5 minutes. Prepare the fresh cream: Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the crème fraîche with the fresh ginger, candied ginger and orange zest. Serve: Serve the pears with the fresh cream and, if desired, garnish with fresh mint.
